What is the minimum age to rent a motorcycle / bike?
To rent a motorcycle the minimum age is 21 years old. To rent a bicycle there is no minimum age.
Do I need to make a deposit?
Yes. The amount of the deposit depends on the chosen model, and can be made trough credit card or cash (depending on the model).
What are the required documents to rent a motorcycle / bike?
For a motorcycle rental is required a valid drivers license and identification (Ex:Passport). For a bike rental is required your identification (Ex:Passport).
Is it possible to drive the motorcycles to another countries besides Portugal?
Yes. If agreed between Northroad and the customer at the beginning of the rental.
We are organizing a group to go on holidays in your motorcycles or bikes. How many can we rent?
It depends on the available models when you make the reservation. Get in contact with us with some advance in order to get the required number of Motorcycles / Bikes.
Is it possible to drop-off the motorcycle at a location other than the pick-up location (one-way rental)?
Yes, it is possible upon payment of an extra fee that varies according to the desired drop-off location.
What extra equipment can I rent for the motorcycle / bicycle?
With the motorcycles you can rent jackets, gloves, rain suits, GPS and extra helmets. With the bicycles you can rent lights, repair kits, inner tube, pump, saddle bags and rain coats.
Can I make the drop-off / pick-up on weekends?
Yes. We are open everyday.
What is included in the rental price?
It depends on the model. Please check the page for the chosen model.
Can I leave my luggage at NORTHROAD´S shop?
Yes, you can without any cost.
Can I make long-term rentals?
Yes, you can. Please ask us for a quote for longer rentals
